Senior School History


Year 7s History lessons got off to a fascinating start with the Year group being asked to bring in an artefact of more than 30 years old. The aim was to get the girls to understand how objects can teach us about the past and to develop skills essential for historians such as questioning, literacy and presentation skills – the stories were also a fun and fascinating icebreaker at the start of Year 7.

Harper’s family collect old cameras, Felicity brought in some medals from the first Gulf War, Minal’s family brought a dish back from a trip to Saudi Arabia and Chloe’s family have an old sixpence which they have put in a pendant.
