Drama 'DNA' performance

GCSE

Our Year 10 students produced and performed their GCSE set text ‘DNA’ to their friends and family on Tuesday evening.

‘DNA’ is about a group of young people who accidentally commit a serious crime and attempt to cover it up. The performance looks at society’s response toward empathy, pack mentality, cruelty and bullying.

‘DNA’ is a text the girls study for their Drama GCSE exam. By performing it, it really helps them to understand the text and to be able to empathise with the characters more, rather than reading through it, helping them with their revision.

It was a great performance, well done to all involved.
