Congratulations to our Drama department for their success in the ISA Drama Competition. They were awarded the 'Best Middle Production', 'Best Devised Piece' and 'Best Ensemble Performance'. With the judges feedback including, 'The opening of this production was extremely powerful, using physical theatre, music and flashlights to create a spine-chilling atmosphere which continued throughout' and 'All the cast gave strong and committed performances. This was clearly a story that the company cared about and have made their own'.
The girls benefit hugely from drama performances, as it improves a variety of skills including their self-confidence, empathy and communication skills. It develops their presentation and team work skills not only in drama but for all subjects.
