Year 3 absolutely loved Mrs Smillie’s talk on her trip to the rainforest in Borneo. As Year 3 are learning all about the rainforest, its habitat, native animals and its biodiversity, it was wonderful to have someone describe what it was like first hand. Mrs Smillie talked about the hanging tents they slept in, meeting native inhabitants and the incredible animals they saw!
Mrs Smillie has travelled the globe over the years taking school trips to far flung locations such as Malaysian Borneo and Ecuador, Kenya and Tanzania and the Galápagos Islands!
