Today, we welcomed Tablet Academy to talk to the girls about AI. AI is fast becoming part of all of our lives yet the understanding of AI technology is relatively limited.
As the next generation of innovators, our girls need the right skills and resources to understand what AI is, how it is designed and why it is important in today’s digital world. Otherwise, the skills gap will only widen further. During a two day course, Year 9 developed a deep understanding of AI, being trained to use AI toolsets to create solutions to real life situations. They have been training Alexa to action the speech commands we give it, working the AI technology Alexa uses.
