Today, the whole of the Prep School took part in the NSPCC Numbers Day. The girls took part in Dress up for Digits, wearing number accessories and enjoyed a fun-filled day of maths activities and games, while raising money to support our services such as Speak out Stay safe and Childline.
In Year 2 girls have been taking part in Buddy Challenges working together on different mathematical problems, meanwhile in Year 6, the girls have been looking at Fibonacci sequences and using them to create their own Fibonacci spiral pictures, working on a speed calculation sheet, a mixed fractions cal-culation game and an equation problem solving three in a row game!
The girls thoroughly enjoyed the day and as always we reinforced the fact that maths is fun!
