Alderley Edge School for Girls are celebrating the sporting success of Seren, Year 9 student, who represented Cheshire Schools in the Regional round of the ESAA combined events competition, winning the regional round.
Along with three Cheshire team mates, Seren will now represent the North West in the national finals in September 2021. Seren has also been selected to represent Cheshire Schools at the ESAA national championships for high jump, making her one of only sixteen participants across the country to be selected.
Ms McConville, Director of Sport said: “As a school we are incredibly proud of Seren for this fantastic achievement. Her hard work and determination shown at AESG is clearly demonstrated in the wider sporting world and we wish her every success.”
