Pupils in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 were treated to an illustration workshop by Children’s Book illustrator, Melanie Williamson who has illustrated books including Pirate Pete’s Potty and Billy and the Mini Monsters.
Melanie demonstrated how to draw some of the funny monsters from her latest children’s book, which the girls then drew. Their pictures were absolutely fantastic and they loved learning all about the hilarious characters in her book Billy and the Mini Monsters.
What a wonderful opportunity for the girls to be inspired by such a talented artist. The girls had the opportunity to use their Be More Attributes, Creativity and Curiosity.
