Following the sad news of the death of Queen Elizabeth, pupils and staff have been sharing their memories of the Queen. We have posted some videos of the girls sharing their memories and pictures on Social Media. We also asked the staff to share their memories and were excited to learn that Mrs Coltman carried the Olympic torch and met Prince Edward! She writes:
“It was an absolute honour to carry the Olympic torch for the London 2012 Olympics and even more exciting when I was chosen to meet Prince Edward who thanked us all from the Queen for our commitment and hard work whilst being a Games Maker.” She was a team leader in the Basketball Arena.
We are also thrilled that Mrs Harrall, who works in the Early Years visited London at the weekend and placed an AESG card amongst the tributes. It was from all of us to pass on our best wishes to the Royal Family.
