Alderley Edge School for Girls has formed a strategic partnership with St Ambrose College in Hale Barns. A leading all boys grammar school.
The partnership will see our 6th Form students come together with St Ambrose College students to benefit from a range of events each year including careers workshops, debating, talks and fun sports fixtures.
The partnership will provide students at AESG with the opportunity to extend their 6th Form commu-nity in preparation for their transition to university and to work collaboratively with other students who share their career aspirations, for example, in the fields of medicine, law, engineering, technology and the arts.
Our first partnered event will take place on Mon-day where students from St Ambrose will visit AESG for our BeMore Curious Day, which includes workshops to prepare pupils for university includ-ing visiting speakers talking to students about fi-nance and health at university.
We are very much looking forward to working with St Ambrose and welcoming them to AESG on Monday.
