Year 12 enjoyed a glorious day at Formby Beach this week as they embarked on an Ecology field trip.
They took samples from different sections of the coastline including grassland and sand dunes. The students then looked at moisture levels and pH levels. They also identified the organisms present to see what affect the environment had on both the abundance of the organism and type.
The experiment that the students carried out will work towards their A-Level Biology coursework and was a wonderful day out together too!
