Our GCSE Geographers enjoyed a magnificent trip to Iceland during half term and took in the sights and unique landscape of the island.
During their visit they visited the Mid Atlantic Ridge, which runs down the centre of the Atlantic Ocean and shows itself on land in Iceland. They also visited the black sands of Rynisfjara beach as well as the Sellfoss Waterfall pictured right.
It wasn’t all work and no play, the girls also enjoyed a day in an Islandic natural spa!
