Share
Sixth Form Trip

Year 12 Psychology students had a informative and engaging day at the Manchester Coroners Court this week. The girls listened to the chief coroner for Manchester summing up a two week case to the jury.

It was fascinating seeing the legal process at work and listen to the lawyers wrangling over the finer semantic points of law.
It was also valuable for the psychology stu-dents to see some of the workings of the mental health system in practice. After the summing up, the students we able to visit the chief coroner in his office and find out some more background of the case and of his life in his job!
