Today, Sixth Form welcomed InvestIn, a careers advisory service of which we are partnered with. They discussed the many skills employers are looking for beyond excellent grades and a degree.
Skills such as being motivated, a self starter, passionate, resilience, stress tolerance and emotional intelligence are all positive attributes that young people need to demonstrate in their interviews.
The talk educated the Sixth Form about the benefits of work experience, their hobbies and school enrichment opportunities can all help them to develop these qualities.
It demonstrated just how important our #BeMore Programme is in providing girls with key, transferable skills from an early age.
