On Wednesday 11th May, a team of 21 athletes competed at the ISA North Athletics Competition. This was their first athletics competition since 2019. The girls have worked incredibly hard over the weeks leading up to the event, attending trials and extra practices.
The overall results for AESG were incredible, with both the Pre-Junior (Year 7) and Junior (Years 8 & 9) girls winning the overall ISA North Athletics title. Our Inter girls (Year 10) finished a respectable 3rd overall.
We had 9 qualifiers for the ISA National Athletics finals in June, a fantastic achievement.

Special recognition for sports scholars Bea and Seren who not only won their events on the day and qualified for Nationals, but also both set new Championship Best Performances in their respective events.
