Science Competitions

Proving that robotics and STEM is not just for boys, are our Year 9 regional finalist winners!

The winning team travelled to the North Liverpool Academy to take part in a VEX Robotics Competition this week. VEX competitions a great way to expose students to valuable soft skills like communication, collaboration and time-management in a fun and authentic way.

Each team had to build a robot which they could program and drive for one minute . The girls drew on their coding, maths and science knowledge as they battled against teams from school across the region.

Our Robotics Club demonstrated the excellent opportunities AESG has to offer to STEM enrichment and future careers in STEM. They can’t wait for the National Finals which are in March.
